About LaTonya Foster, FNP
Born and raised in East Texas, LaTonya Foster has always been passionate about caring for women and supporting families through every stage of life. She began her nursing journey at Tarrant County College, where she earned her nursing degree before advancing her education at Texas Tech University, obtaining both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
LaTonya dedicated 17 years to serving patients at John Peter Smith Hospital, where she developed extensive clinical experience and a deep commitment to women’s health. She later joined the Baylor Scott & White Health family, where she continued to pursue her passion for OB/GYN care and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training.
She began her nurse practitioner journey at 8th Ave OB/GYN, working alongside Dr. Hughes and Dr. Neville, where she was warmly welcomed into a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. LaTonya is eager to welcome you to the 8th Avenue OB/GYN family and is committed to empowering women with education, support, and high-quality healthcare throughout every season of life.
Outside of the clinic, LaTonya enjoys anything sports-related, spending quality time with her family and her two children, and traveling the globe to participate in mission work—extending her heart for service far beyond her local community.
