About Kendall Byrd
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Kendall Byrd attended Texas Christian University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She found her passion as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Texas Health Southwest Hospital, where she worked for 7 years. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Texas at Arlington. Kendall started her career as a Nurse Practitioner as part of the pilot Advanced Practice Provider Residency program with Acclaim Physician’s group, where she practiced and learned alongside the Family Medicine residents at John Peter Smith Hospital.
She joined Eighth Avenue Obstetrics & Gynecology in June of 2021 and is so thrilled to be back in women’s health and taking part in the care of women through all stages of life. She has joined the National Associated of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health to stay up to date with all of the latest practices and updates to provide the best care to her patients.
In her free time, Kendall enjoys spending time with her husband, two young daughters, family, and friends, taking in all of the new things in Fort Worth, traveling, and trying to catch up on sleep.
